Uma estudante refugiada síria de 10 anos chegou a Portugal com a sua família e foi acolhida num centro de acolhimento apoiado pela Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa. Ela foi matriculada numa escola pública, mas tinha dificuldades com a língua portuguesa e muitas vezes sentia-se excluída. Começou a faltar às aulas e corria o risco de ficar para trás.
A 10-year-old Syrian refugee student arrived in Portugal with her family and was welcomed into a reception center supported by the Portuguese Red Cross. She was enrolled in a public school, but struggled with the Portuguese language and often felt excluded. She began skipping classes and was at risk of falling behind.
